Tesco Mobile logo
Tesco, one of Britain’s biggest supermarket chains, entered the mobile telecommunications industry in 2007 offering services throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
In 2008, I spent a year travelling and working in London. During my time there, I was fortunate enough to work on the new logo for Tesco Mobile. The aim of the brief was to create a logo that stood out in the ever-growing mobile communications sector.
Maintaining the widely recognised Tesco logotype, a unique symbol was designed to convey communication and signal. The logo which I created was finally updated in 2020, with a flat, single-colour logo mark which is actually how the original concept was designed.
